Unfortunately, because of Nintendo's kid-friendly focus on most of their big titles, this is highly unlikely to be included as alternate-costumes for the actual game.

Well put. I mean, I know they have Bayonetta on their hands now, but if Nintendo DID go and sexualize their platforms, not only would it alienate their younger demographic, but it would kind of force them to blend into the woodwork of mainstream gaming in some ways by pandering to eye candy instead of innovative new ideas. Sure, the WiiU wasn't as well received as other platforms overall, but one must admit that Nintendo does try to push the envelope in how games are played in recent years. But hey, that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY.

Eh, the whole distinction of "casual" or "hardcore" gamer is misleading at best. I prefer Nintendo overall mainly because of the innovation that goes into their machines. I mean yeah, Virtual Boy sucked wet noodles but it was just WAY ahead of its time.

But before absolutely derailing this thing, would it be TOO much to ask for Squid Girl to be a playable character in Splatoon?

I love that it's is rule 34 and we're talking about how Nintendo is initiative and that they don't sexualize their characters too much
