Here's a tasteful, but sexy pinup of Padme - tame by my usual standards - but it's an idea I've been wanting to do for a couple of years now. It depicts her in the bedroom of her Naboo lakeside retreat, preparing for her secret wedding with Anakin by getting dressed up and admiring herself in the mirror, dressed only in her wedding veil and lingerie before donning the rest of her wedding dress. It gives the viewer a glimpse of what Anakin will get to see later during their wedding night. This marks the first time I've depicted her in part of her wedding costume (the detailed wedding veil), and it also marks the first time I've ever done a picture in which a character is viewing a mirror image of themselves so that we can see both sides of them. It was a unique and challenging perspective to do for a picture, and I think it came out well. I'm especially proud of the detailing I did for her veil, which was very tedious to draw and color. Enjoy it for what it's worth, because I may never do another picture of her in that veil again.
