I'm 5'7", dunno if I'd call that particularly tall or short, but most guys I've talked to about it said they prefer the girl to be shorter than them, like significantly. Plus when you're shorter you can wear tall sexy heels without towering over everybody. There is something sexy about taller women though, I guess personal preference for what I find attractive it's really more about proportions.

I think it has more to do with having a significant physical edge. It's easier for a man to persuade a woman shorter than him than it is the other way around. Every woman I've ever heard likes men taller than them. Hence the symmetrical selection bias (Tall men like short women and short women like tall men) Interestingly enough, models on average are taller than the average woman. That's a pretty weird disconnect unless we factor how much women intimidate men.

BTW, I like taller women, but that intimidation factor cuts both ways.

I dont think it matters what you are, from my experience guys will try to hump anything as long as it stays still long enough.
