straight software engineering is alright, but these days I find I get more kicks from debugging, reverse-engineering, patching, cracking, exploiting, etc.
I love coming up with creative ways to force software to do what I want.
lately I've been getting familiar with 64-bit assembly (for the longest time I only dealt with 32-bit), which feels like it's opened a lot of new possibilities for me.
I enjoy hanging around StackOverflow and pretending to be an expert. I think I have around 800 rep at the moment.
I love to submit actual direct answers where everyone else is just criticising the question.
I've also been experimenting with video encoding/muxing. for example, being able to mux anime episodes yourself can be very handy.
I also make music — drum&bass and industrial hardcore. always slow progress on this front though; I don't have much motivation for artistic activities unfortunately
I have some natural talent for drawing, and I think if I actually practice I could make some great hentai. I have a wacom tablet collecting dust, but I do plan on getting back into drawing sooner or later.
I sometimes play video games, but try to avoid them since I get easily addicted. I also struggle to find games that appeal to me.
Overall I don't really like reading or writing … or speaking.
I tolerate reading/writing best when there's plenty of structure involved — lists, sections, paragraphs, tables, links, annotations. I often struggle when talking people who aren't fluent in English or have strong accents.
