Rezise the images
Ok I accidentally clicked on the option to always leave the image in the original size, but I'm not going to turn it off, who knows how to do it?

well cookies are the only mechanism to hide the resize options. there's two cookies: "resize-original" and "resize-notification". delete them both and you should see the resize controls again.

also make sure you're testing this on an image that is actually large enough to have resizing applied. post #2293728 for example.

if you confirm that the relevant cookies are deleted and the rest of the page is rendering correctly, and you still don't see resize controls on large images then I have no other ideas than to simply use a different browser. I don't know enough about Microsoft browsers to help you beyond this

Not too familiar with IE, but that would be impossible. You probably didn't delete ALL cookies. Sometimes browsers separate cookies into "cookies" and "site preferences"...make sure you delete the site preferences as well. If there is an option to clear absolutely everything do that.

Or take this as a sign and upgrade from that archaic browser to Chrome or FF.
