Couldnt find it and since I don't like bringing back random topics from several years ago, and since there are a few questions I wanted to ask about tags.

First of all there are a bunch of tags for bad english, (including Bad_english, broken_english, and previously Dat_english) do I just go in and change them all?, is there a way to come to a censes on which to use? (what if I prefer "Dat_english" instead of bad_english)

I also wanted to create a tag for characters, or shows, that need more Rule34, especially since there will be a forum post about every 6months asking which anime/cartoon/character/thing needed more rule34 love.(What would it be? there is already a Rule_34tag Rule_34_visa? Rule34_Newcomer?) I also seem to be unable to find the threads I previously posted on before so I can add "Freefonics" to the list I posted, for shows with little presence on this site.

And does the Selfcest tag work for expys of characters? If a character like The Incredible Hulk were to be rule34'd with the Infraggable Krunk is that selfcest? I saw the tag used this way a few times..

The Tag Discussion topic is stickied to the top of the forums with the other stickies, and no we don't really care if you retread old topics in that thread...I've done it a few times myself and no one has ever said "NO, we already discussed that! GET OUTTA HERE!" I don't really expect people to go back and read an entire 77-page-long thread.

Usually with tags you want to pick the most popular ones. Bad_english is the clear winner here because it has 10 tags...broken_english only has 1. dat_english isn't even in the running anymore because it just doesn't exist, and it's a bit slangy too which is generally frowned upon.

As far as making a tag for characters who could use more 34...I just...wouldn't do that. Usually there is a thread running for that sort of thing. There is one on the front page right now (albeit at the bottom of the page). Here is the link: rule34.xxx/index.php?page=forum&s=view&id=5468

You can also be the change you want to see...if you think a character is under-represented on the site then try finding and uploading more porn of them.

As far as the selfcest thing...that is an interesting question, but I don't think Hulk x Krunk would be selfcest. One is an obvious parody character, but a separate character nonetheless. Selfcest is only applicable when the two characters are canonically the same character. So usually it's characers fucking their exact clones, game characters fucking their skins, characters fucking their rule 63 dopplegangers, etc.

If a character is based off a certain character, but is still a distinct character (Mario and Wario for example)...that's not selfcest imo.

Accuracy is what we want, funny tags it depends what you find funny, someone thought it would be funny to add his own tags, he came very close to getting banned.

"bedroom_eyes" I think is a shortening or alternative to "come to bed eyes", a very well established term that's been used for decades, it's less used in the common vernacular so much these days, but well established in media such as film.
