Why Support MP4?
I don't get the point of MP4 support when it lowers the video quality so drastically. When an MP4 is uploaded it's converted to WEBM, but it's converted really badly. I can immediately tell when I'm watching a WEBM that was originally an MP4 because it's really blocky and blurry.

For instance this post here: post #2229282

It's so blocky I feel like I'm looking at it through a filter...going to the artist's Tumblr I can see they only have MP4 version available...so I'm guessing that's what they uploaded. I almost feel bad for this artist because they upload their hard work thinking everything will be fine, then it is made low-quality. Imagine if some other format did this...like JPEGs where converted to PNGs, but there was blocking and blurriness...we wouldn't allow that I'm guessing.

So I really don't see why MP4 should be supported at all if it is going to lower the quality in such a drastic and notable way. At the very least least some warning about this quality reduction should be added to the WEBM upload page.
