Rule 34 - videos/Gifs wont work?

videos/Gifs wont work?

Any videos/gifs on here wont work on my iphone or mac book. I noticed anyone that wont work has a blue frame around the preview, and when i click on the link theres simply a play bar but no window or image to play. Anyone know whats going on?

WEBMs don't work on iOS because Apple doesn't like the format. There is probably a workaround for it on your mac book (just Google something like "play WEBMs in Safari mac book"), but I doubt you'll ever be able to see them on your iPhone until apple changes their minds about it.

You should be able to view animated GIFs on both devices though...try any of these: rule34.xxx/index.php?page...t&tags=animated+-webm

When I'm on my phone, I get around the issue by getting the "Original Image" of the WEBM and then opening it in an app called Infuse. Not the most favorable set up but it works.

Hey, that does work. I followed the same steps, but opened with VLC. So I guess you can get them to work on iOS it's just a bit laborious. DAMN YOU APPLE AND YOUR COURAGE!

Have you tried opening them using the "original image" button? Are they just not loading at all, or are there some other issues with the videos?
