I used to really be into WoW, then I got a bit bored left normal servers for Moonguard and started doing RP. After a few years and some terrible expansions I just got tired of the game entirely, so I left the game for good.
Currently I play a lot of ARK, RUST, lots of survival-crafting multiplayer games. I haven't found anything that really captured me the way WoW did.
You likely never will again.
I was caught up in Diablo 1 & 2, and Torchlight scratched that itch... but as for the addictions that were Everquest and FFXI? Never happening again. The MMO model was fucked with no lube thanks to WoW.
EQ had no point, except what you made. FFXI was once the hardest MMO out there, requiring 3 years of cooperation between 18-36 people to get a single relic weapon.
WoW was just.... *sigh*... fucking McDonald's, and people ate that shit up like the willfully ignorant pigs we are.
If it never existed, MMOs might have remained healthy today in their previous form.
