Sorry if I upload videos beyond one minute, happens sometimes, although there dont seem to be any problems. What is the file size limit?

A lot, its more of a thing that i don't want it to become a big video site. It takes a whole bunch of bandwidth.

You might wanna make a rule forbidding users from uploading large sections or entire episodes of TV shows, then. Those would eat up bandwidth fast.

I think a 2 minute limit is reasonable. Lots of porn webm's are around that lenght as far as I see it

Question: If a webm and gif version of the same animation exists, should we delete the gif in favor of the webm or keep both?

I'd say we keep the higher quality version, or maybe the webm since its a more efficient format

I would say if they are identical then the better quality would remain, so if the webm is better quality then it would remain and the gif would go, it's better if we just treated it like images.

If they have some real differences like several seconds of extra footage etc, then probably just leave em.

Yeah absolutely Gloom the ToS above the upload for webm needs some new ones to cover tv shows, copyrighted content videos in general, no music videos etc etc (even with the webm's muted they whine about music being shared lol), short porn clips is about all we can get away with, the rest is heavily policed by the copyright trolls..I mean the copyright defense groups :)

One thing that could happen after you guys and gals get the webm upload system sorted out one suggestion I have is getting it to where you tag like you can when you upload images, it's not a huge problem as you can just add the tags in later, but yeah just a small thing I noticed.

Is there a certain reason why I can't get webm uploads to play on my mobile device? I hit the play button and nothing happens.
