I keep forgetting to make those (Instead eating Almonds and expensive Creme fraiche crisps for fave snack), I like blackcurrant boiled fruit on mine for that sour tang, even though the legumes often cling to the roof of your mouth, so good.

If you value your Colon, try to eat red meat and especially processed red meat in moderation and not every day (you don't need to stop, just moderate it), that shit is proven to cause all kinds of bowel cancer, since the human body is not designed to eat large quantities of meat, humans where scavengers for millennia didn't get to eat much meat since it was shared in the group, only very recently in the scheme of things have we eaten lots of meat and it causes our cells to malfunction eventually, there are conclusive studies on this, no joke, no food scare, eat red meat in moderation.

No dumb replies to this please (I will remove them), this is just life saving information, the overwhelming evidence is out there, go read up on it, this is a topic about fave foods, I'm not derailing it xD oh and "everything causes cancer" is about newspaper scares, not overwhelming real medical research, it's your life, but I will not allow idiots to discount Science on this website, it's cretinous.

Of all meat types, I tend to eat more pork than anything. Blame living with Dominicans for a couple of years, and picking up their cooking...

Plus, I just got a sweet deal... 10 bone-in chops for $5.27... damn near a buck a pound...

White meat studies show no real increase, so as long as there isn't overwhelming concrete evidence, I'm going to enjoy my white meats and the occasional bacon and steak since your body can handle some every now and then, fried chicken is my favorite.

Despite being Irish as a kilt drenched in Guinness and then re-used to make the bag of a bagpipe, I'm not really big on traditional Irish foods like potatoes and cabbage, or even Guinness, in fact. I dig the crap outta most Italian meals consisting of noodles and sauce, and pizza, the American bastardization of an Italian dish, though!

Well Mediterranean countries bastardized the classic Italian first and it was brought over stateside with them, do you like Chicago deep pan? most famous American pizza I can think of.

No one can blame you for not liking potatoes and cabbage, it's pretty much an old stable of most of Northern Europe, thank fuck we don't have to rely on local produce eh.
