Unless a chick is naturally skinny as fuck, it's actually quite hard for allot of women to get the thigh gap without starving themselves and not exercising so their muscles get small, it's rather ridiculous that the human race pursues unrealistic body types, for what isn't even that pretty and all the issues that go with trying to look a certain way.
There is nothing wrong with a little muscle and a few curves, it's how it is supposed to be.

It's not about "prettiness". It's about popularity. You are considered "of higher social status" if you have a thigh gap. It'll eventually become a fashion pursuit however. Give it a few years and the media will be pursuing it like crazy.
I think it had more to do with the fact that gals who had a thigh gap were seen as having wider hips, thus being more sexually appealing. Sadly for the ladies who don't necessarily have very wide hips, the only way to get that look is to have very thin thighs. So, they began dieting and some started starving themselves to get that look.
I'm not teally a chubby chaser, but I don't like super thin girls. She's gotta have defined, but still normal looking muscle. Not a sixpack and ridiculous biceps, but no flab or bones. These new fads make no sense, but I've always been "put of the loop" with whatever is a fad. I'm too busy being me!
Every woman is different. If a girl is naturally skinny and has a thigh gap that is fine as long as she's healthy. A woman shouldn't strive to get a thigh gap to get a guy who happens to like thigh gaps. That would be just plain stupid.If you are wanting a thigh gap do it the healthy way and if you can't achieve one then love your thighs the way they are.

I've seen and know plenty of people who have thigh gaps. Some are healthy looking, some...not so much. Any day of the week I'd go with thick thighs just because I feel they're more adaptable, but gaps I don't think would fail on the pleasure business depending on the women
