Firstly the superior image must be uploaded first which is allowed, then we can consider removing it, until the improved image or superior resolution image is uploaded we will not remove the old one as there is no need to, you can still upload a bigger resolution image or altered image just fine first.

Most likely the copyright holder submitted a copyright takedown request and we had to comply and remove them.

That's literally the only reason we take stuff down, we never take a large number of images down simply because we don't like it or whatever other nonsense reason can be thought up...

Firstly an IP Internet Protocol is your address online issued by your provider, if someone else uses your IP and gets banned, you are banned also when you come to use it, even if innocent.

So best to figure out what happened and avoid in the future if possible, lets go through some likely problems:

Do you use a VPN (Virtual Private Network that allows you to change IP)? if so note that these are shared between users and someone else got it banned.

Maybe someone is using your WIFI without your knowing?

Someone on your home or office network might have gotten themselves banned?

Maybe you let someone use your network or computer and they posted something under another account got themselves banned under another account?

Often this occurs, they get themselves banned and then deny it or claim not to use the site due to embarrassment.

Same for any internet hotspot, wifi in public places, there are other people using the same IP, if only one person abuses it and does something to get themselves banned, the whole hotspot gets banned.

Maybe you posted something against Terms of Service on another account in the past and forgot about it? it may have been years ago and just found lately.

Perhaps you are using mobile internet which sometimes shares an IP between other users on that mast or recycles IP's?

If you see a ban message, it's not a glitch or a bug, the IP that was used was banned at some time, it will remain so, if the ban message goes away, it's not the same IP.

All bans are final and cannot be un-banned. (Unless evidence is presented that show an IP ban was in error, account bans are irreversible)

Please investigate why your IP might be banned from the site and please understand that you can get an IP that is banned and have done nothing wrong, this is unfortunate but all bans are legitimate.

We don't know your setup unfortunately so you need to figure out what happened at your end and how you ended up with a banned IP.

The only way for mails to ever disappear, is if either the sender or the receiver deleted it this sometimes occurs, mails do not simply vanish, mails have never simply vanished for 10 years this mailing system has existed, do you think it's going to start now? NO!

What is happening is whoever sent you mail is deleting their old mails, thinking you have the other half so it's fine, but what happens sometimes is it nukes the entire discussion, all those replies are gone when one of the two parties of the deletes the mail.

It removes it for both parties sometimes. If you delete your old mail and are still having a discussion in that old mail, you will delete the current one as well, do not delete a mail until you are done having that discussion otherwise it deletes the entire discussion.

This also happens when you send mail to someone and they delete it, it gets deleted for you as well, so this is confusing for some people who think either it never got sent or just vanished, no again someone has to delete it, who? either the sender or the receiver deleted it, every time, always, the claim not to? yeah might have been by accident or they are just lying to be nice.

It gets even more confusing when the person you are mailing is hitting the red x deleting their mails thinking you keep your end of the mail, that happens way too much and again causes confusion, ask them to stop deleting their part of the message because it deletes both ends.

In a few rare cases, there may be certain internet security software or ad blockers that mess with the mailing system, try disabling these so it works right.

Either way very few people out of the tens of thousands who use this site have issues with the mail and over these 10 years it's nearly always turned out that someone has accidently been deleting their sent mails, or someone got banned, or someone sent a bunch of mails and then decided to delete them on a whim.

All you can do is ask the people you are mailing to please don't delete their old mails as this removes the entire Mail.


If you are not getting mails it's because either the person did not send it, or they are putting your name in wrong in the 'send to:' box, sometimes people even put the sender user name in the wrong box.

It's in the moderation queue, all new uploaders go there due to random posters, we have to vet new folkes content, this happens too if you have been here forever but haven't uploaded enough.

So please be patient, it will take some time unfortunately, don't mail us unless like a week has gone by and it's still not approved.

If you want to see your deleted image:

Check profile> tag count>click on the number, it shows every tag edit you have made, including all your posts even soft deleted ones, find it in there, if its not there it's perma deleted.

If an image has been removed under lq or pq, or art quality standard, you cannot appeal these, we are getting too many learners trying to get their works on the site (or artists who think they are, but are not up to the site art quality standards)

Even though we warn them on the upload page not to do so, so we process them fast, we don't give any appeals, I check all deleted posts anyway and if your art was mistakenly removed Admin will restore it.

ToS given as the reason means the image broke our terms of service.

LQ/PQ - The art does not meet site standards, this could be anatomy, line art, basic understanding of art composition, shading, coloring, we look at multiple factors, we get rejection sucks, but be respectful when appealing.

If you get too heated we'll just ban you and no you cannot persuade your way into us changing our minds either, not worth trying.

We remove amateur art styles, because most of you who will upload them and get it accepted, will just take them down within a year or two and waste your time and ours, make sure you are at a standard that you are happy with for many years.

Edit - Usually a non transformative edit.

NP/Not porn - You uploaded content that's not lewd so not on topic.

NL/not lewd - Content especially fetish content or AI generated content needs to be lewd enough, a bit of cleavage is not enough, it needs to be lewder with see through or clothes removed.

loli/sh0ta - Anatomy that matches the Japanese definition of loli/sh0ta, don't think about canon age, we are not considering that at all, just the anatomy that fits loli/sh0ta and we check each body part, so if it has a face of a loli for example but the body of non loli we would reject it, older teen anatomy is just fine to remain.

Why do you think artists get removed, 99% of the time the artist asked for their posts to be taken down, the other 1% they had a bunch that violates our ToS and we just found it, either way you could have worked this out for yourself surely?

We don't want everyone to have to endure the same questions over and over and over, that makes for a shit forum, stop making the forum shit with your personal questions, ask staff instead, or not and watch me ban you for being a selfish asshole.

Unfortunately we have no time to go investigate the validity of reports made to us regarding this topic, often there is zero information available on a google search or other tools to be able to check, there might be, but it takes time to check and we don't even know if the report is true or not.

Often these reports made to us contain no proof of what is being reported, no links, nothing meriting a response, so we are supposed to investigate based on what? it's not feasible to act on reports made by those who are not directly effected or representing the person effected.

Sadly we get allot of bogus reports made to us in the past, which often proved not to be true, or where fabrications, it used to waste allot of our time on goose chases, we wont be doing those.

So we will not respond to any of these claims by 3rd parties.

The person involved needs to contact us via [email protected] proving copyright over their character, or their art and then we know for sure it's most likely legit and of course we will take immediate action if someone is being targeted who is underage.

Until we have contact from the one involved with some proof, we have nothing to go on but what someone claims, we will never take action on that, it would be irresponsible to take the word of anyone, we deal in facts and proof only from the one effected and we take action quickly.

You can contact Admin right away through site mail, but anyone else you need a certain trust level because our users where getting spammed and this helps the problem while not really inhibiting normal users.

You need to essentially just do something on the site to be able to mail, be it post an image, write a comment, write a forum post, tag an image.

These all earn trust and very few are needed in order to get permission to mail, if you write a terms of service breaking comment, or post an image against tos which gets removed, or have a forum post removed etc, you lose trust and have to make it back up. At least it's not permanent!

Don't ask what your level is please, contribute instead until it's back to positive, because that's the only way, so if you just make a mistake now and then, you should never end up much negative trust.

This was implemented to stop spammers who where abusing site mail, this way the community can mark spam mails and it gives them a minus score, if they send more than a few spams the account can no longer use site mail.

A regular user will accumulate allot of points with ease and even if you have some things removed sometimes it should not effect you at all.


If you are new to the site, just make a nice comment on some art, to be able to post mail, if that does not work you are in minus trust, keep going.

We don't reveal your trust level on purpose to stop spammers, or those who have spammed requests, advertisements or discord tags etc, so please don't ask what your trust level is, you will know when it's positive because you can use site mail.


I have made so many contributions but I still cannot site mail/PM why?

Because you either made negative comments, or spammy comments requesting something, RP requests, dm me spam, discord tag spam, saying you don't like certain porn or artist, this sort of thing can lead to a negative trust score since you get a minus score every time a mod has to take action to remove your comment/post etc.

Keep going with normal contributions it will unlock soon enough, I'm not going to fix it for you unless I find the mod has made a mistake, if you are sure they have, then you can appeal.

Our policy is to allow as much as we can, so removing what you don't like would be counter to that..

It's an incredibly non R34 to do, seriously if you have to ask or demand we remove certain content, you are not suited to R34, you cannot handle it if you need to ask we remove something.

Go check out a site tailored to what you like and move on delicate flower, you came to a site known for variety, for weird things, for things you wont like, if all else fails, tag blacklist will block it for you.

No because it attracts predators like bee's to a honey pot, we strictly enforce no RP ads, no requesting anything, you will get banned. Videos are supposed to be under 100MB and 2 minutes in length, if you upload greater than this it may work or it may not, but we encourage you not to upload very long videos please.

With that said, here is a list of things to check:

AD blocker blocks normal video uploads, disable or whitelist and reload browser, use a browser without ad blocker, see if it fixes it.

VPN might be banned, but might not indicate it right away, unfortunately you just have to keep trying till you get an IP that works, paid VPN is less often banned.

If you upload videos with source or tags that are blocked by the word list it might be rejected, always check this if it does. Check also you are uploading on the right page rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=addVideo

Sometimes videos fail because the speed between computer and site is too slow or gets interrupted, or temporary routing issues from your provider.

Please consider blacklisting only the content you really don't like and ignoring the milder content, the tag blacklist was never meant to filter the main site feed, it's meant for filtering out the worst tags for you from what you are searching for.

If something is not loading, it's because something is stopping it, clearly, is it us? No that makes no sense what so ever, we would never do that and such issues that may arise are very short, is it your own ad blocker software/internet? YES.

First go to my account>options and choose another Preferred CDN Location and hit save, try them all.

If that fails you have either something on your browser like an ad blocker or internet security software blocking normal site functions.

It effects a very small minority and we have through trouble shooting their issues, determined a problem with brave/opera browsers, because they auto ad block, this ad block is not smart and blocks videos.

To fix this you can try and turn off their ad blockers and restart browser, it might not work, so use firefox with ublock or similar good ad blocker that does not block our websites normal functions like playing videos.

Why is brave browser, opera etc blocking fluid video player? because they try to block the ad on the video and in doing so they block the entire video instead, because it's not working very well.

So unfortunately your browser/adblocker/extension/or internet security software is the culprit.

You have the solution, try another browser with no extensions, try disabling ad blockers, try white listing the site in the internet security software, ultimately it's up to you to fix the issue at your end.

There is no issues with the site playing videos in general, so only you can fix this.
