Try making them more intense. You can make push-ups harder be shifting your weight onto one arm while using the other for stability or, if you're strong enough, place your other arm behind your back (one-handed push-up).
Funny thing is the other day I was showing off by trying to do a 1 handed pushup and when I tried I couldn't do 1,then my hand slipped and I hurt my other hand trying to break my fall.
One-handed push-ups are harder than they look. Not only are you only using 1 arm instead of 2 (half strength and less balance), but the weight of your other arm is added on to what you're already pushing. It requires about 2.5x the effort of a normal push-up.
Leaning on one arm and using the other for stability is easier, about 1.5x the effort of a regular push-up.
