There's too many of them, and for people who aren't interested in looking at them, it's much too difficult to blacklist every tag related to furries. And even if you do that, there are still a ton of furry pictures that don't have the appropriate furry tags.

If you wanna look at them, that's great, everyone likes their own thing right? But make it easier for people to not see them too.

Presence or absence of abnormally colorful fluff is not an obstacle to my enjoyment of pornography. :V

I'm guessing that was ironic, Gloom? :P

I'm pretty sure every human being short of the straight-up asexual is somehow attracted to humans (and if not, find a therapist, now). Furries, on the other hand, are a niche fetish. Two very different things :P

Pretty much. Furries are given their appropriate tags way more often than humans are. Most of the human images that weren't tagged by me only have the human tag because they came from E621, where they actually use the tag. Sites like Gelbooru don't use it at all and most taggers and uploaders here don't bother.

I have done tests in the past to see how effectively I can block female humans from the search results. What I found is that when I blacklist every tag related to them, most images on most pages are either blacklisted or still showed female humans anyway despite blacklisting everything related to them. (The furry flood would have been the only time this didn't happen.)

People have also complained about us having too much futanari (apparently 3% of site = too much), MLP (again, 3%) and gay (~7% maybe) yet they fail to realize that this site is >70% female and >50% human, and of that remaining <50% you've still got other humanoids (Elves, catgirls, etc.), aliens (Asari, Yuatja, etc.), monsters, plants and personified objects (post #1153374) to consider.

In the end, what it comes down to is them complaining about something they don't like just because they don't like it.

I agree with Tay here. It's not just about furries though. It's too hard to find what you want to see sometimes.

I agree. In a perfect world, we would either have an army of willful taggers, or an economy structured in a way that would make mass hiring of taggers something very profitable. Unfortunately, that is not the way, so we have to rely on pro-active members.
