I believe we decided on Rule 34-tan.

i thought it was sanae kochiya from touhou before she became a shrine maiden and went to gensokyo

34 is san-yu jon in japanease so id go with sanyu-san or sanyu-tan

That doesn't make sense. One doesn't know for certain if she is really Japanese and if she were and you wanted to use the Japanese word for 34 you can't just cut it in half.

well i was thinking about an "name sounding" name.
rule 34-chan/tan/san or whatever dosent sound like a name, it sounds like a classification for equitment.
going for something that sounds like an actual name, i tried looking up the japanease word for 34, but sanyujon-chan/tan/san dosent sound good either so i cut it to sanyu.
we could allways just go with an obvious name, but that just feels to easy and dumb.
also, since the majority of content on the site is in "anime style" or downright anime/manga content, im assuming the mascot (who is also drawn in anime style) is japanease. well, its only an assumption, if the creator says otherwise then its of course that.

The name was picked in the same trend as other mascots for things such as web browsers and artists. Prime examples are Zone-tan, Chrome-tan, Windows-tan, etc.

If you wanted to try to make a name using Japanese and 34, Miyo-tan might be a better arrangement to use.

We need some way of finding pictures for her on the website, seeing as a name isn't agreed upon yet.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen. The only possible way of getting more results is commissioning.

I'm just saying... it's hard for her to be found if she hasn't an identity yet! She's had a few pictures, but I can't seem to find them.
