Is reverting tags broken? I remember it used to work but it's not now. Giant pain in the pass to undo people removing all of the tags from images without it.

here's my workaround:
github.com/bipface/usersc...ter/rule34-revert.user.js

That works great, thanks man.

Okay so the two images got deleted. One was just a pairing, no sexual implications visible, alright. I can understand that, for the second not quite tho in comparison to a third image that seems to be ok(?). I'd thought, that for a character that gets fan art extremely seldom, a sexy pose would be acceptable EVEN if it lacks genitals or nipples. But I'll accept the deletions.

Just... What is the safe rating on this page even for then? And why don't we get notificated about deletions or rule infrictions?

Mods and admins can choose to PM you about it or if they are to busy they won't, its up the the person dealing with it. The safe rating is something left over from the software we are using, and shouldn't be used. Then again if you do tag them as safe we can find them easily and delete them ;)

looks like the rules about this have changed since i last read them
( section 5 at rule34.xxx/index.php?page=forum&s=view&id=4163 )
but i guess anything that qualifies for this gallery should be rated 'questionable'

@Shushuccubus
it's very difficult to create fool-proof guidelines for how explicit an upload needs to be; apply your own judgement, but ultimately you have to accept that borderline images might end up getting deleted

i doubt you'd get banned for uploading them before a being sent a warning, unless you spam lots of obviously deletable stuff

Aaah, understood. Thanks for clearing this up! I'll keep the not so 100% pornographic art off the site from now on.

There's some weird stuff going on with some tags, e.g. "oerba_yun_fang"... The post count next to the tag varies wildly depending on which post is being viewed, like one post says "oerba_yun_fang 469417" and another says "oerba_yun_fang 64". Sometimes it's colored green, other times blue. The bot seems to be adding it to posts which are completely unrelated. If I search it on the Tags page, it says no results found.

. . .

it's a known bug in the tag aliasing feature

Oh I see now... Someone aliased fang to oerba_yun_fang, so anything that has fanged teeth gets the alias... and the alias system didn't create the missing tag so there's display glitches

I can't downvote posts anymore... are we getting rid of that system?

I'm glad it's gone, it was useless thanks to downvote bots.

Did it really do anything though? There are still posts uploaded after the change that have negative scores.

Hmm, seems the change is just cosmetic, the server still accepts downvote requests. I guess it didn't solve anything after all.

We removed the last remaining downvote links thanks to Slayerduck, there was one still remaining on the comments page.

Yes unfortunately too many images where being unjustly hidden and folkes didn't seem to keen to just change their threshold to be able to see them, so I asked for the links to be removed. Then the comments too for the same reason.

The problem is that the influx of downvotes mainly comes from bots. These bots are sending direct HTTP requests via a botnet to mass-downvote things. The problem will remain unless you guys remove the server's capability to accept downvote data.

If you visit the following link with a valid POSTID, it will still downvote the post:
rule34.xxx/index.php?page...p;id=POSTID&type=down

Same with comments:
rule34.xxx/index.php?page...d=COMMENTID&vote=down
