Yes that's the one. It shows the first frame but does not play any other frames.

yeah looks like the server's image resizer doesn't handle animated GIFs correctly. you could also clear your cookies and select the 'always view original' option

We always set sample output to jpg with a 90% compression or something in those lines, to reduce bandwidth usage. Converting a gif to jpg will obviously create a still image as you are very well aware. I suggest using webm's for bigger animated files ;)

No problems

This site doesn't have any problems, hell compare to the other site Rule34Hentai (which is pop ups galore, and has one cunt of an admin), this is the most stable one yet, no endless pop ups and so forth.So I say no, I haven't encounter any bugs, hell I say this site is 100% good.

Notes not working properly

I dunno if it's just my computer/browser messing up, but every time I try to mouse over a note to view a translation, nothing pops up.
I try to look at the notes history and it says the image has none.
Clicking the image still makes the notes invisible and then visible again.

1. try disabling adblockers, if any
2. try clearing your browser cache
3. tell us what browser you're using (including version)
4. try a different browser

I turned off my adblocker and that fixed it.
Weird thing is that I don't recall the adblocker ever blocking notes before just recently.

well adblockers auto-update their rules, and EasyList has a history of interfering with R34's scripts for some reason.
add a custom filter rule
@@||rule34.xxx/script/application.js
to ensure the site still works while ad-blocking is enabled.

can't log in

i'm unable to log in from my phone's browser, over a mobile data connection. every time i try it just sends me to this page:

it's Firefox (fennec) v52.0.2 on a HTC One M7

i've tried:
- HTTPS and HTTP
- desktop mode and mobile mode of the site
- different accounts
- browser addons enabled/disabled
- deleting cookies

i can log in fine over wifi, but with a 4G connection i get the 403 page.

what gives? o_O
i can't even guess at what might cause this

Send me the IP, it might be in a range we blocked from doing any POST request to our site because of extreme non stop abuse that happened 2 years ago or something.

Somehow the notes won't work even if application.js is unblocked, I'm unsure what causes it but its a thing a person is going to have to accept if they let other people control what they view.
