I started getting into hentai when I was 13. I was looking up images for Rosario + Vampire and Amazing Nurse Nanako on the internet and came across two hentai image sites (sadly, I've never been able to find them since, but I do believe one of them was a booru). I lost my internet connection for a couple of years, and when I got it back I tried to find them again, but instead came across Danbooru, Sankaku Complex, Gelbooru, and several others.
