the ways some people do their RPing is very disorganized and makes it more of a chore to decipher (kind of like trying to read chicken scratch written by hand). Examples of this are when people don't enclose their actions or character/environment descriptions/thoughts/feelings/etc to separate them from dialogue. Also poor spelling/grammar, too many emoticons, abbreviations... We could probably fill volumes with examples of the faux pas made by inexperienced or lazy RPers. And yes, you are right about having to go back and ask what the person meant. One should really look at their writing in an RP as if they were writing a work of fiction. A good work of fiction should stand alone, and speak for itself, without the reader having to go back and ask the author what he was actually writing about. That wouldn't make for a very good story would it. If a man swings a sword, let him swing a sword. Good descriptive writing is preferred, but when in doubt, Keep It Simple Stupid. Lol.
So really, the problem is one of efficiency, and perhaps more important in principle, standards.
i actually meant that the "Should we use: - or = " debate is freaking stupid..

This has more to do along non-sexual line of RP.
There are no small roles, just small roleplayers.
Second that! You can have the most standard character in existence! But if you do it well people will remember him.
