Humans are mammals and primates.

That's not what I meant, and we already proved that wrong. If you take "any animal" literally, anything that can be classified as an animal, including humans, would all be under 1 tag which wouldn't help you at all.

Why the hell would you count humans as an animal?

Because they are an animal.

Homo sapien (colloquially, "human") is a species classified under Kindom Animalia. They are therefore, by definition, animals. If they were not animals, they would be in a different Kingdom, such as Kingdom Plantae or Kingdom Archaebacteria.

Humans don't count as animals, they are homo sapiens that have a level of intelligence far beyond an animal.

Well, I guess only some of them do. >_>

The species Homo sapien (aka "human") is part of the genus Homo, which is part of the Tribe Hominini, the Family Hominidae, the Order Primates, the Class Mammalia (ie. mammal), the Phylum Chordata and the Kingdom Animalia (ie. animal).

Like Miss_Vulf said, anything in the Kingdom Animalia is an animal.

EDIT: This also means almost everyone who visits this site is a Homo.

Yeah, but that's a complete load of bullshit. If you put all living things in 2 categories plants or animals then yeah humans would go under animals.

So you're saying Biology, the scientific study of all living things, is bullshit?

The sun is a star... unless you're talking about the Angry Sun from SMB3.

Why is it that it seems you fight against everything that's being said? Boy, and I thought I'm negative.

Second option for what I meant.
First option for me matching the stupidity of this thread.

No, I'm saying just because things in biology are categorized like that doesn't mean you should tag all pictures with humans only in it as animals or furries when they are clearly no where near the same thing.

Alright, this thing has missed it's original intent for too long now.

So I like so say this: I do hope that the bot does take up with the furry stuff again, I think the variety helps draw people. The lack will make some wander away, which is not the desirable outcome when the community was never been super-duper active to begin with.
