Potential Site Improvements
I noticed that there wasn't a sticky for site improvement suggestions, hence this thread.

Simple little thing, in our inbox we have a little X in terms of being able to delete things. Now I am prompted a "Do you really want to delete this" message, which is okay, but then the page refreshes to the first page, having me to slowly delete every single message in another page.

I was thinking to remedy this, we could have a checkbox instead of the X. We check the box beside the messages we want to delete, and then we just hit the delete checkmarked messages. The "Do you really want to delete this" message should still appear, but it would make things a lot faster.

Thoughts? And if anyone else has any site suggestions they would go nicely here as well.

Why's that?

I believe it's because we wouldn't able to change much anyways due to the current software.

For me, these threads just serve as a reminder that nobody messages me. That's what most suggestions deal with.

I have no idea who is admin here or not, hence why I created this thread. It is also important to get community feedback on a potential new feature or how to fix a problem among other things.

Middle clicking on the X will delete the message without the message prompt and page refresh occurring. Note that you won't actually see the PM disappear until you refresh the page.

After reading through most of the tag discussion thread to learn about effective tagging, a few thoughts occurred to me about how to fix any future tagging issues. While this won't change anything that is already in place, I think these are pretty effective methods of changing the tagging system.

Number one is the bot. Since I know it copies information completely from other sites and ends up misses a tag because of it, wouldn't it be useful if it inserted a tag if certain requirements are met by the copied tags? Lets say the bot copy an image that satisfied these tag requirements: Does contain:{feline} and Does not contain:{beastiality}. Then the bot would automatically add the tag Furry to that image. This can be helped to tag things like human and furry and other major tags that are really underrepresented.

My other suggestion would be a solution to fix incorrect tagging. Perhaps we could outright deny a certain tag from being added. So if you tried to upload an image with incorrect tags you would be put back to your image submission form with an error message on the top saying

"ERROR: The following tags are not allowed, did you perhaps mean?
- huge_cock. big_penis?
- large_dick. big_penis?
- 3_boys. multiple_males?
- 4_girls. multiple_females?"

Obviously as new genres and new shows get released some of the tags that may previously been not allowed must then become allowed. We would have a stickied thread where uploaders can ask why a certain tag is not allowed, and perhaps ask for an exception.

You could also start adding conditions. Like:

"The following tags cannot be used without the parent tags."
- mother_and_daughter requires incest.
- family_sex requires incest.
- cum_inside requires vaginal_penetration or anal_penetration or fellatio."

Thoughts?

What you're describing here sounds like an alias system. Basically if X is aliased to Y then all instances of the tag X are replaced with Y. If someone tries to search for X, they get results for Y. If someone tries to add X to an image, the system automatically changes it to Y.

The site already has an alias system, in case you're curious. Although it's a bit flawed, as the numerous "*_eyess" tags still sticking around can attest.

Also, what you describe after sounds like an implication system. Basically if X implies Y then all images with X will automatically have Y added to them if it's not present.

The site does not currently have an implication system.

Also, the "cum_inside -> vaginal_penetration/anal_penetration/fellatio" implication you suggest wouldn't work. Generally implications should be used to have a specific thing imply a broader thing. A better implication would be for "cum_in_mouth" to imply "cum_inside".

I was unsure of exactly how the aliasing system worked. I always thought that they just allowed the images to appear in both results if they only have one tag of the alias.

I can understand the specific -> broader thing now, after trying to figure out which scenarios it wouldn't work in.

If this system was included I can imagine there being very complicated implication codes, but I feel it could really help in allowing a large portion of images to be tagged with the major tag types like colour, furry and human.

One thing I'd like to see is a date tag on messages. That way if any RPing is going on, coordination could happen.

A sex field (M or F) on profiles so you know if you're messaging a guy or girl
