Hi, I tried to search for information but can't find out what the limit is on image size? In kB that is?

I don't think there is one, strictly speaking.
I think it's largely limited by how good your connection is, although exact numbers are hard to give since I don't really know the system that well. Basically, as long as you can upload the entire file before the connection times out, it's allowed.
The largest image currently on the site is, I believe over 50 MB.

hm strange, I try to upload my latest animation 23,8 MB and instantly get "413 Request Entity Too Large"

I've heard (and noticed) that the site tends to not play nice with images (especially animated gifs) over 10MB.

Same thing happening here. Was trying to upload a 2mb gif and I keep getting error 413 (both in Opera and Firefox). Any suggestions?
