(XD but I'm not sure how to considering how my character is acting in the market XD)

I slowly close the inn door behind me and approach the elven innkeeper, I look her up and down and crack a half smile "Evening miss, I'll take a flagon of ale and a room for one night." I turn around and look around the room, searching for an empty table, I see one in the corner of the tavern. "I'll be over there." I sit down at the table and scan the room again, always cautious of my surroundings, but this time my eyes end up back at the elven woman I just had the pleasure of meeting.

*By that time I arrive at the gates of the city as well. The guards give me a leery look* Guard 1: Where are you from and what is your business here, stranger? *I turn halfways with my hood covering my face, only my mouth can be seen.* Nothing special, just a lonely walker from a neighbour kindom that wants to visit new places. *I say and flip two golden coins towards the guards. They catch them and let me pass*

(Going to introduce the Princess now. She's incognito, though.)
Princess Brittany had once again snuck out of the castle; she was dressed in a light blue dress that had the purposely 'well worn and faded' look about it. She had on a long, oversized. traveler's cloak of a darker blue shade, which she kept up at all times, to hide her eyes and keep her face from being recognised. She wore a pair of scuffed black loafers to complete her disguise. Although in truth, just 16, she was known in the inn/tavern as Ol' Blue, and had found many a help there, to stand against the king...but as long as the villagers she recruited, did it 'secretly', though some of the bandits were her doing. As the young lady walked in the tavern, she looked around for either new faces, or ones who hadn't been talked with yet. Her eyes landed on the stranger, and, as was her means, waited to be approached, and invited to sit with the 'target'.

*I get all the supplies I need, and I notice a few people in the corner and other places looking at me. I look down and start to walk away,*

As I sit in the corner of the tavern waiting for my drink, I lean back in my chair and reach into one of the pouches on my sword belt and pull out a pipe, I place it in my mouth and strike a match on the wooden table, I light the pipe and take a long drag followed by an exhale of smoke.

As the smoke clears in front of me I notice a female figure clad in blue having just entered the tavern. I realise that some of the men around me are looking at her and whispering to one another, "Better make sure she's okay." I think to myself as I stand up and walk over to her.

"Need some help Miss?" I say as I take another drag on my pipe.

"Depends." Brittany says calmly. good. Target bit. Now to see if he's recruitable. she thought calmly. "There a quiet place we can talk?"
A waitress nods to her. She's one of her rebels. One of the men is also, but to keep up appearances, he glares at her. "Just relax, do I cause trouble?" The man just shrugs. Turning back to her target, she asks calmly, "I don't recollect seeing you before. Are you new?"

I tap my pipe on my forearm, causing the burnt tobacco to fall to the floor, before answering her question I observe the back and forth between the blue clad girl and the other occupants of the tavern.
"Yeah sure, we can talk over there." I say as I point towards the vacant table in a darker corner of the tavern. I take another look around the tavern, the place seems to have quieted down since the arrival of this girl, I then turn back to her "I arrived here not long before you walked in, so, shall we talk?"

Brittany tugs ever so gently on the front of the hood, to shade her eyes more. "That's fine." She nods as they make their way to the secluded table. As they sit, she says, "Are you aware of the kingdom's dire srraits? All the corruption that runs rampant in the streets, and at the castle? It makes things... difficult for those trying to do an honest day's work. There are a select number of us who try to show the truth to visitors and dwellers alike. Don't take my word...eyes, ears open; mouth shut and spend a few days just mingling. Taxes here are bad, but bribing and corruption? Far worse. I would like to return to see you here three days hence. About this time. See what you have learned, I pray, the truth...and you live to tell of it. Now then, have you any questions I would be at liberty to actually answer?" Brittany had kept her voice just above a whisper throughout the telling of Davirda's woes...because of the king.

I sit across from the blue clad girl, wondering who she really could be. I listen intently as she tells me of the hard times the kingdom is going through.
I ponder her offer for a moment "I wasn't planning on staying in the city that long, but I guess I can make an exception." I say as I lean forward and cross my arms, "I do have a question actually, where does the queen come into all of this?"

(if she's the princess wouldnt the people know who she is and who the royal family are/look like??)

(Panda, remember how Jasmine disguised herself so no one knew it was her? And that's why the hooded cloak my princess wears, and never takes off while in the village :3)
Brittany gulps. It was true no one had seen the queen in a while, and from what she knew at the castle, that she couldn't tell or she'd be found out? Brittany's mother was no more than a puppet, being controlled. Brittany risked everything nightly to do this. Using the gulp as a cover, Brittany answers, "We are not sure what has become of the queen, sir..."

I lean back in my chair again, I notice that my question had made the girl uneasy "Listen, I need to get going, is there anywhere I can escort you to? Night time can be very dangerous for a young girl, even within the walls of a city." I stand up and make a gesture towards the door.

*Just at that time I walk through the empty small streets of the city, almost invisible for everyone else. I decide to enter the same tavern as Brittany. As I come in, some people turn their heads for a couple of seconds. I don't order anything and just sit down at a small table in the dark. Then I grab a knife and start scratching symbols into the table, while watching everything that is going inside the tavern*

From the corner of my eye I notice the mysterious figure enter the tavern, my eyes follow him until he disappears into the dark corner of the tavern. "Wait here." I say to the cloaked girl as I cautiously walk over to the dark corner, "Maybe he can help me with whatever this girl wants." I think to myself.
I stand by the edge of the table the man is sat at "Excuse me pal, mind if I take a seat?"
