The actual roleplay starts here!
I'll start, but this doesn't mean no one else can join, you're free to join along the way.

It was a little past dusk by the time Mia finished most of her duties, but before she had the chance to take a break she received word that an ambassador would be visiting in a few days. Usually this was their polite way of telling her to start making something more elaborate to impress the guests. She could definitely manage elaborate, but this time she had to worry about having everything she needed, all of her usual ingredients were eaten up by the last few events. This had to have been the fifth guest this month, what are they doing inviting so many people to the castle?
Mia let out a sigh as she rolled up the letter and tucked it into the pocket of her apron. She took a moment to form a list of everything she'd need then received permission to leave the castle. She was unsure where exactly she'd find everything since the few markets she had been to were too low class to carry such high quality goods, but that was the least of her worries.
Normally they'd just import most of these goods directly or send out an errand boy to get them, but it was too short of a notice, Mia felt uneasy to go out and do it herself. Night time is always dangerous and her only reassurance was the company assigned to her. Maids and servants are not allowed to leave the castle unaccompanied past sunset, so a knight offered to tag along. Even so, it's not like the knights are any better than bandits in this kingdom.

You don't have to post this much and I probably won't be posting this much in the future since this kind of post has very little action in it. Hopefully this set the scene and gave you guys a better idea of how things are. :3 Feel free to play as any of the characters I mentioned if you want an easy way in (ambassador, the knight she's with, a fellow chef or baker, heck you could even be the guy steering the carriage or a bandit.)
