Necroposting is sexy and cool.
Ninjaing is also sexy and cool, that's when someone posts while you're typing and either says the same thing faster or says something that makes your post look lame in context (eg they answer a question before you asked it).
To bump is to post something short and meaningless just to push the thread to the top of the list.

What other forum terms can we teach the kids?

Oh, and a post with a title and all the replies under it is called a thread, not a forum. A forum is the entire collection of threads and posts (that's like saying "a twitter" or "a reddit" to refer to one single tweet or reddit post).

Love to rp, it's just a shame rule34 doesn't have features to prioritize and promote that kind of fun, since it's more of a post-board focus website.

My strategy has just been favorite and comment on the posts that I like. Mix between geninue down-bad reactions, sprinkle in a joke or two, say 'smash' alot, but more importantly state snerarios or ideas in a subtle way.

It's repetitive, and frankly from an outsider's point of view, annoying, but they don't matter. It's just about attracting others who are interested. Like fishing, casting the hook, seeing who bites, reel 'em in, profit.

Side note: When emailing, it's best to have a list of copy-to-paste info to share. Kinks and limits, ref(s) that you usually play, plot ideas and what not. They came to ya, so now ya just gotta show what's on the table.
