Almost all of the RP I do here is through PM and mostly due to meeting people through the comment section on images. A few steamy, well-written comments or a few words setting up a quick story to go with the image doesn't go amiss, most of the time.

So far, the RP I've done has been fantastic and I don't have any major complaints. Be interesting, like the OP stated and also be intelligent, write complete sentences and be descriptive and active in the roleplay. Not sure if I would want to do an RP on the forum though. Seems like it would get really crowded.

This is why I prefer Roleplaying through personal messaging.

Or multiple comments at the same time wanting the same thing, but only one can have it, that's an issue I've encountered... but yeah, people just jumping in can ruin the flow

Having a certain timing between posts or someone to manage things would help, but who'd want to do that?

I dont think thats "how to get an rp" but rather
"how to realize that this was probably a bad idea"

As a female on this site let me tell you that I get roleplay requests in my inbox on a constant basis. I think somebody already this before but I will repeat it for effect: First and foremost BE INTERESTING when you send somebody a roleplay request. If you send out a message that says, "hi, wanna rp?" I can guarantee you that you will be ignored.

Be playful. Be explicit. Be titillating.

Its funny. It really is. After I posted my above comment I received about five or six RP requests from mouth-breathing idiots who did exactly what I said I hated.

More than once I've got a complaints from female users about people coming for RP. Usually like "I commented on X and this guy is bothering me."
