I'm with you there. SRW is super obscure in North America. We're missing out on all the best SRW stuff, esp. SRW Z3.

Part of me (the evil part) wishes that the SRW franchise falls in popularity in Japan so they'll have no choice but to either port old SRW games like OGs (PS2 version), the Alpha games, and Z's games in packs for the American market or put an end to the franchise completely.

As for my obscure game, I'd like to say Triggerheart Exelica.

You can import Z3, PS3 and Vita don't have region lock. Doesn't matter what the sells are because it doesn't get exported over legal matters. Marcross only is a licensing nightmare.

Did hear that there were plans to release Alpha 1's Dreamcast port because of how popular Gundam Wing was at the time.

I can't read japanese and I don't wanna get a game where I don't understand a lick of what's going on.

And I know wat you're going to say next: there are translations out there! No. Just no. I want the game trans. in english so I don't have to go through the trouble of looking online just to get the story. Granted I do have SRW MX but I only care for its battle animations. Its story does not matter to me.

That's why I praised the translators of Alpha Gaiden for all of their hard work. It was so much fun knowing what was going on while playing it.

Well, Judgment got a translation years ago.

Never played the first game but I LOVE parasite eve 2.
The first time I saw the woman in the diner of the first level turned into a monster, I freaked out! As a kid and also not knowing that the monster was the stage boss, it sucked when I lost for the first time.....(also not having enough bullets didn't help either.). Anybody ever played

I would suggest playing Galerians and Metal Slug. Galerians
is kinda like Resident Evil 2, where they had suspense,puzzles and some action in it. Galerians has that too but its about people with telekinesis and psychokinesis
powers unlike Resident Evil where you have zombie/infected people in it. Also.......Metal Slug RULES!!
