All politics is manipulated by the rich and big business, we know this is a fact by the huge sums they invest in doing just that, they don't even bother to hide it, since so many believe whatever they are told.
So Brexit is what some rich people want for some reason (I'm not sure I buy the tax haven reason, but maybe), some rich people don't want this, so they fought it out and one side lost, now some in the side that lost wants punish the side that won with harsh negotiations that they hope to "win" but ultimately they will back down because it is bad for business.
All in all things will remain pretty much the same, although they will change a few things to make it look legit, they always change a few things so it looks like legitimate change, when really it's not and Pseudo Democracy continues.
