I have made my Annual pilgrimage through the "what" tag and my sanity has remained intact. Almost didn't make it this time around but I found a few bastions in the wasteland of what to regain some mental stability. From page 1 to 99 I persevered and emerged unscathed, mostly. Now I must rest.

I just do it, it's become a tradition type of thing. Although this time I was also scanning for an artist's work, an artist I can't remember the name of. They draw these disembodied breasts that are their own separate entity. demonman has some art that is close to it but it wasn't demonman, it's kind of in the style of faustsketcher, that kind of pencil sketched look. I think I'm wrong but I think part of the name was "cubey". I've tried cubey_cat, cubey_chao but I just can't remember it.

Serious Question: Is cunt really that bad in the US?

It's not spoken often but when it is, it can be a bit jarring for a moment. I think it is because it's a mostly European word and most American people don't hear it until it is being used as an insult. That's just my theory on it though.

Some regarded worse than saying fuck. I've never heard someone here use outside of sheer rage.

It's an English word not a European word (though some people in other countries in Europe might use it for lols, they laugh whenever using English words like it's the funniest shit, it's hilarious to watch).

Though the word cunt probably originated from Proto-Germanic or Old Norse originally, which makes sense since those combined with Norman to become English.

Swear words are only bad to those that think it not appropriate, so it depends where you are and with whom, in public it's best to be careful how you use it, as long as it's not named at someone or said along with endearing terms like, "ya silly cunt" then it's fine.

Sanity is overrated ;), who defines sanity? what are the criteria, "normal" people spend all day talking to themselves in their mind, one thought after another in endless pointless circles, hardly ever taking time to enjoy life without thinking.

Without thought you can just experience what comes and goes, to take time to smell the roses, take a deep breath and stop thinking for one blissful moment, noticing the short but total stillness and know for a second who you truly are, certainly not merely the mind which is the ultimate gadget that unfortunately most don't know how to use properly.

The truth is far far more interesting.
