I HHAAAAAATTTTEE Ark right now. Lost a Doedicurus to a group of insta-spawn Allosaurs and seeing as I had to migrate that Doed from scorched earth (because for some reason I can't find any on the Island) I am seething right now. Now I have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN! AND THAT WAS THE SECOND ARCEUS-DAMNED TIME!!

Ha, i just found out drawn together is on youtube, completely uncensored. Yep, all the "fucks", "shits", dicks, tits and adult humor jokes are intact. I miss this show.

This is why I never started playing Ark. I have a good friend who played it in the beta stage. Based on his descriptions, I concluded that the game was like Minecraft with very pretty graphics and a server which is a complete dick. I avoid frustrating games.

Well i only play on singleplayer, PS4 scrub, but i have teased the idea of going on a server to experience the community aspect of the game. I find Ark can be described as " Extremely rewarding at the best of times and mercilessly soul crushing at the worst of times". Shortly after I lost the Doedicuris I found a solitary Allosaur, tranqed it and tamed it. After exploring on Dante (the Allosaurus) for a bit I managed to locate a Doed on the island. Haven't gone and tamed it yet but I will later today. It's a low level one (6-10) but I just want it so i can start building my stone stockpile.

I'd really like to know why I keep getting ditched. I don't mean to be pushy if I am. If your not interested or if I say something wrong, please just tell me.

Have you been asking them? After they "ditch" you do you give them some time and then message them why they just stopped?

hmmm, perhaps you said something uncomfortable, or maybe they didn't plan accordingly for the rp and had to do something IRL. Hell, maybe they just climaxed and didn't see the reason for continuing it anymore. I don't know.

Yeah some people do suddenly have things to do irl and I think some do it just to be jerks. Like, "Let me message this guy and then go into this church for this 8 hour funeral"

In my opinion that's acceptable, some people have it like: message, finish junior high, finish high school, go to college, start a family, get kids through school, divorce from wife/husband, then message back with "K"
