I used to watch it on PBS during the Tom Baker years. Recently have been watching the new ones made since Christopher Eccleston, Tennet, and Smith. Interesting thought occurred to me though... The doc closed a portal to send the Daleks away and had to send Rose (and Mickey) to the alternate dimension since if she stayed, she would have had been sent with the Daleks. This was explained because she had ridden on the TARDIS and had some dimensional stuff in her. So why wasn't Sarah Jane also taken? Or Jack Harkness?
