I'm actually curious to know if there will be ambient music. Maybe even give soundtracks to the people who donate an x amount of money. Maybe even let them add their own NPC if the donation is a hefty enough amount. Stuff like that.

In short, people like getting prizes for payin up.

I don't think music would appeal to people any more than the commission tier or getting things hardcoded for them tier would.

I did wonder if I should have a little streaming radio station app built in so people could listen to some scifi related music.

I also did think of having some SCP type of Events with eerie noises. Like a stair case you keep going down infinitely, with more and weirder noises the further you go down. Plus (disablable) sounds on chat and such.

But actually getting a soundtrack composed? I can't budget music when I can't even budget artwork unless a stretch goal is reached. And even then, I'd still rather have more art. :<

One thing I did like about Monster Girl Quest was the squishy noises. >_> But I don't know if that's right for this.

I think the addition of sound effects would be nice in themselves. Gives it a little bit more life. Other than that, having character portraits themselves outmatch it, imo. But again, it was just out of curiousity.

I think they fit more in a eroge, though.

It would be possible with the same server, to just change the client a bit to have a smaller text box just at the bottom just like a eroge, and less big paragraphs of text, and have portraits over that box. Just not really looking for here~

I'm trying to make more like a Corruption of Champions MMO. Though there's lots of other differences from that, too.

Only thing I could think of maybe tweaking it is if you do get the funding for some art, [I recommend looking through Furaffinity for some decently priced stuff] is maybe have couple of pics for each one and as you interact with characters they have different "scenes".

Another thing would maybe be fun to have is if you go down a certain path [droid to bunny for instance] if you go back and do something else they react differently [so after going to droid to bunny, then touch her tail again afterwards she doesn't kill you]. Now I know that it would be kind of more difficult for that, but I'm just saying.

I like the artist I have already a lot.

And the engine supports what you said. It's just a matter of having the writing for it. I want to focus on new writing in the new areas than going back and adding to that original stuff, though.

Alright. Besides that, I just can't wait for the finished product.

Well, the finished game won't take long if it gets backing on Kickstarter, so tell your friends about it! The alpha would be there in a few weeks, and beta in 2 or 3 months.

I can code really fast, as you can see from how quickly I made just this much. :3

I only got about 4000 words written today. I still had a bunch of things I needed to code as a prerequisite, to make adding content easier, and some more features for it.

I ended up not writing the things I listed before yet. I ended up thinking up a 'taur, a creature far too large to fit fit in the dinky little space ships, let alone in their seats, and grew an unhealthy obsession over space.
I thought that'd be cute~ So I wrote some of that.

Hopefully tomorrow, now that I got a bunch of coding out of the way, I can write a bunch more if the muse is there.

You can find the 'taur girl by going to the wilderness, and just walking around outside the main building there. You'll run into her, and she'll give you a quest to meet her at a special spot.

You can even get to touch her fluffy tail, and she won't kill you over it!

Yeah, I think the part where you touch her fluffy tail and she just kills you and it's game over was really lame. -_-
Maybe just have her punch you in the face and tell you to get the fuck out, would have been a more likely reaction to you just touching her tail. I mean really? What the hell people are just killing you for the tiniest of reasons. That guy looked at me funny, *KILL HIM.* That guy is wearing a blue shirt and red shoes, *KILL HIM.* That guy didn't find my joke funny, *KILL HIM.* Would really suck if all decisions but one killed you. Starting to sound more and more like point and click adventure where any decision is dire.

Yeah, me too. But it's really just about remembering which direction to pick. It's the very same thing every time you beat it. You can't choice any other paths to win.

She actually does explain why she kills you.

I think you're overreacting a little. :x Dying after you've not accomplished anything is no big deal.

Still seems kind of lame. Like getting killed by the first Goomba in a Mario game kind of lame. >_< Like starting on the first mission of a FPS game and getting killed with a head shot by the first enemy you come across kind of lame. >_< Like the start of a race where some how the car behind you starts off fast enough to hit the back of your car and send you flying off the track completely, putting you out of the race kind of lame. O.o
