I feel like many people have such kink. I've met many people who love being degraded and I personally find it hot too.

Although bimbo/slut thing got kinda boring for me at this point and I prefer more personal type of degradation

Degrading is one of those trending kinks right now, I think. It's become common enough that some knuckleheads think it's supposed to be the normal way people speak to each other.

I don't know how many times I've been told (outside of sexual context) that all women have a biological need to feel belittled. Even worse, many others refuse to shake the idea that people must either be constantly insulted or else put in pedestals and worships. (Yeah guy, you found one subreddit you like and you applied that behavior to 100% of the populace. Let me know how that works out for you.)

Honestly, I find it a little tiresome. I don't want to kink-shame, but I see so much of it on this website and elsewhere. Some degrading language is fine. I'll engage upon request. But it's no more or less valid than a praise kink. Alternating between the two seems far more appropriate and creatively rewarding to me.

There's certainly something to be said about what basically seems to be the vanilla-zation of certain things. Roughness, anal for women, deepthroating, and degrading talk, these were always fairly specific things, but I feel like porn is starting to create some expectation that bottoms (which a lot of women count as, and so this is very much in part a gender issue) should naturally be willing to put themselves through discomfort in order to feel like good sex partners.
