Are DnD and MtG players here?

So basically this is just supposed to be a thread where Magic the Gathering or Dungeons and Dragons players can talk to each other. ^~^

There are no limits to topics in this area, whether from official rules/official cards or from homebrew/custom cards to lore and philosophy to the two very large hobby areas. :D

I hope people who have a common hobby enjoy writing here. ^~^

I was involved in around five or six D&D campaigns in high school, but it's been several years since I've played it. Over the pandemic I developed a pet hobby of downloading sourcebooks online and reading through em. I especially like the Eberron setting, and would like to dive into it at some point. Honestly, going off of what I've read, I think it would make for a great video game if it was handed over to a studio like Larian, who developed BG3.

Eberron would be really cool, but Lorian has now given the rights of DnD and BG3 back to WotC for new projects that they want to create. But it seems as if wotc itself is planning a setting outside of Toril as a video game.

I play DnD, Pathfinder, Starfinder, Lancer, and YGO.

For those wondering, no I don't use anything meta in YGO like Snake Eyes or anything. I do play Noble Knights and Battlin' Boxers + Infernoble Knights, however.

yup, but I hate playing online honestly...like, okay, it's better because I can actually get to play DnD, but it's just not as good as irl to me

I’m a fresh fella and I barely have experience with the game. I have, so far, played two campaigns (both got canceled). Anyway, I've come to realize that all my characters have some relation to Insanity.

My very first character was a Trickery Domain Senile, Insane old Bird Man that was a genetic experiment of highly shady governmental proportions and one who worshipped a blood trickster god.

My second (and most used outside of DND (for sexual reasons)) is a pale, 24 year old twink who is going slowly insane from being an Aberrant Mind Sorcerer.

And, in a up coming campaign, I'll be a Juggernaut Warforged with psychotic imperialistic tendencies who also happens to be a Battle Master Fighter.

Interesting, the sorcerer looks fun also lots of point for the Twink build XD

I played a lot of dnd and related rpgs like baldur’s gate. Love creating characters and see how i can make them interact with the world. Sadly i’ve never done any lewd dnd which could be fun it think? But yeah is one of my fave hobbies
