How does the wildcard work ?
Isn't putting a * before or after a word supposed to blacklist everything ? Like for example i blacklisted *boy and boy* but i still saw posts that had tags like 2 boys or something like that . How does this work ?

You can go into My Account > Options > Tag Blacklist in order to prevent a tag from showing up for you! No fancy syntax required there, just put in what you don't want to see and you won't see it anymore.
Otherwise, put a minus sign ( - ) in front of the tag you dislike while searching! For example, you might put:
-male/male
Note: replace spaces in a tag with an underscore ( _ )!)

But i have limited space and a lot of tags i don't wanna see that exceeds the blacklist limit , which is why i put the * and that is supposed to block everything from right and left of said word but for some reason the words 2boys , 3 boys and all that for example didn't get blocked

After looking into it, I found info at the very end of the FAQ that might help you. I'm not sure how the *tag* might work, but will investigate further. For now, this is what I have for you:

If you're using wildcards in your blacklist then you have to search for something to make it function properly.
Also, "*boy" will both overshoot the mark (includes "superboy", "paperboy", "game_boy", etc.) and undershoot it (doesn't include "2boys").

Do you remember where you learned about wildcard rules? I'm curious about stuff like that, and couldn't find anything about it in the FAQ. My blacklist is slowly getting bigger, so I'd like to be prepared!

I figured it out on my own.
It's just basic intetnet search stuff. Not every site takes every operator (I've been having trouble getting "OR" to work here), but most old fashioned sites like this one will accept at least some boolean operators.
