Pizza, for thin crust a Dayton or a New Haven, really any tavern is acceptable, and either pricey Chicago Deep or cheap Detroit for my thicker crusts. Toppings I like include spinach, artichoke heart, any kind of olives(though I am most excited about kalamata), and a variety of cheeses.
Sushi, particularly those with shellfish and hotter veggies.
Takoyaki, if they were vegan(or at least made from a dumber animal), they would be the ideal food. The texture is so fulfilling and satisfying and the flavors are so customizable.
Etouffee, it's like Louisiana's answer to curry. I like mine heavy on the crawfish.
Fried catfish was the meal I grew up with family wise on Easter, which was a favorite holiday growing up. I also like British style fish and chips(with a nice cod, not with catfish), though I think the South has better breading.
Ravioli and penne are my favorite pastas.
I love baked mac'n'cheese as a main, a side, or a snack.
In terms of sandwiches I live and die by Sloppy Joe's(onions not optional), burgers(rodeo is ideal, also in love with mushroom swiss and butter burgers, and experimental stuff), tortas(amazing), and reubens(Kosher ones hit different somehow)
Big TexMex burritos
lololol free titties for anyone who can guess where I'm from with all the shit I grew up eating
