1. He majorly fucked up by overpaying for his commission.
2. With this whole thing becoming what he's known for instead of the series he made i feel kinda bad for him, not a single HH post or even HB post is gonna go by without someone referencing him and this debacle.

I think the most hardcore commission(s) I could think of was one guy asking Palcomix to make a series of MLP comics where Spike would bang every pony in each issue. Which I believed was 8 or something. Asking for a Palcomix comic would've cost a lot, but doing it multiple times like that is crazy. But I doubt it was this much. But those comics where very explicit and public so I guess he got a bang for his buck atleast lol.

Animation is expensive. It's not far off, I'd say. A three minute video, accounting for any looped animation, at that honestly rather impressive quality, I'd say $43'000-47,000 is about accurate.
