Facial Hair
I’ve noticed there are some ups and downs with facial hair so I’m curious, men, women and cheeseburgers how do you feel about facial hair and why do you feel that way. How does facial hair effect dating/sex?

Honestly kind of depends on the person! Some faces work well shaven, some work well with a bit of stubble, some work well with a full beard..... I have to confess I'm pretty attracted to the type that looks good with a little stubble though. There was one guy I went to school with who had this irresistible moustache and goatee combo. Never did get his number! >v>

Yeah this is something a lot of men have to learn the hard way. I had a clean face, patchy garbage, bad stubble and so on until I found out that handlebar mustache is the go to for me cause most other options won’t work.

No clear preference for me so it would pretty much depend on other factors. I've dated guys from clean to full blown lumberjacks and it pretty much depends on the look honestly, like mentioned before, for some it fits, for others it doesn't.

What i am more curious about honestly is the opinion that the mentioned cheeseburgers have on this topic.

Whether they're tired of getting all their residue tangled up in guys' beards? ;>

Hahahhaha, now you are just intentionally bringing back old images into my head xD

That being said... Guys with longer beards, please keep them clean!

I like to keep myself clean shaven as I feel I look better that way and also it isn't itchy on the face

Have also heard it makes me look younger too

As a bearded guy myself it totally depends on face shape and hair thickness, density... colour even. Even with the same length I've had barbers make me look like the guy in the gigachad memes or like a homeless retired sailor just because of some difference in the shape they gave to my beard.

And listen to MissyChrissy, take care of your beards. Not just to look good, but to take care of the skin under it, it is your face after all! Specially in winter in cold and dry areas, or hot humid summers where it's hard getting it dry after washing. If your skin in your face looks like it's in pretty bad shape, imagine under the beard (Although it's true sun will damage less your skin under the beard)

Beards are great in the wintertime because they help keep your face warm.

Yeah, all the dead skin crusted up under it is not a pretty sight. Gotta wash that shit off every now and then.

I don’t like my face with facial hair, but I like it on other people

I'm all about facial hair on guys, in fact that's my one-and-only, no exceptions rule- Must have facial hair, mustache minimum.

That being said, not every guy has a lot of facial hair. Some guys can't grow any at all.

Facial hair, whether it be a mustache, goatee, or beard, looks best when kept neatly trimmed. Not obsessively trimmed, mind you, just neatly so. As an example, Josey Scott*, former lead singer of the band Saliva-

His beard trimming is on point, but I can't stand it when guys over-trim their mustaches like that, to the point that I want to yell at them "EITHER GROW A MUSTACHE OR DON'T GROW ONE, BUT QUIT DOING THAT HALF-ASSED MINI-MUSTACHE THING!". Of course I don't do that because it's their upper lip and therefore their choice how much of it they shave, but you get the idea.

I tend to go for mustaches more like this one-

But I do realize that might be a bit much for most people. I'm sure there's a happy medium to be reached somewhere between Josey Scott and Derek Smalls.

The most important thing about facial hair, though, is that it feels GREAT on sensitive areas, so let your imagination go wild on the implications of that statement and whatever you come up with will probably be correct.

* Josey's accent is quite close to my own, if you were wondering.

If the man has the jawline to pull off a beard it makes him look really hot imo

The real trick is that if a guy doesn't have a great jawline or much chin, a beard can make him look like he does.
