Why is loli/shouta banned but cub still around?
I get wanting to ban art of kids, but it's a bit suspicious that furry kids are still allowed.

So the answer is "because they're not human children."

Cool...

Not supporting loli/shouta by any means, just think it's kinda sus.

Advertisers care about the humans, but furries are fine for them. It's strange, but that's why things are done.

It's funny because Newgrounds banned cub art even though they don't technically need to. That's actually what got me thinking about this.

So why not ban all art of kids?

Because it's easier not to, I suppose. No reason to add on more art to review and delete that they don't want to look at. Only a guess.

When you run a website like this, i just think its hard to worry about questions of ethics and stuff when you have way bigger problems to worry about, such as keeping the site up at all. Ideally it wouldnt be allowed, but realistically there is way bigger things the devs need to focus on rather than just add more work for their mods to do.

Yet Newgrounds, which is also community/ad-funded, can do so.
