I love the classic Universal B&W films! Then there’s The Invisible Man (2020) and Hollow Man, the deadites in the “Evil Dead” series, the Xenomorph Queen from Aliens, Charlie Manx and his evil Rolls Royce, NOS4A2 (tv series, 2 seasons). Michael Myers is my favorite slasher killer.

As for my favorite movie, it's Ringu. The slowly escalating tension as the 7 days come to an end and the curse threatens to come to fruition is amazing! A stellar example of what horror should strive to be, in my opinion.

Sorry to ask, but how old are you that you've never even heard of the creature from the black lagoon? I know he didn't get a crap-ton of sequels or remakes/reboots (the shape of water doesn't count, pretty good though), but he's another horror icon that everybody interested in the genre should know.

It’s amazing how fast they can take over, how one moment things are normal and the next it’s eerily quiet, like a ghost town.
