pokemon are fictional characters and are drawn to have "human" emotions and expressions, so through the years pokephilia has become a thing. At this point it's weird compared to "normal" stuff, but at the same time it's quite normalized and I don't think you should worry about it much :)

Fantasy creatures tend to be easier to find appealing then real animals when it comes to porn. Like, tentacle porn is extremely common and I doubt most of the people who enjoy that would also enjoy bestiality.

I disagree i think the pokemon arent depicted as sapient for the most part, not any more intelligent or aware than an animal. Which personally i draw the line at, atleast for others. Im personally only into human beings

I kinda disagree on this, because yes, pokemon often aren't depicted as sapient, but at the same time they often display human emotion,(through actions, and voice too) and human expression, to let you know how they are feeling. They create a connection with the viewer because of that.

That said I am not much into pokephilia tbh, I prefer humanoid creatures. I mean, humans are hot, but demons are hotter :P

(Also I was confused as shit reading your username XD I was like "when did I reply to myself?")

Animals display emotions, dogs get sad and get excited and happy but at the same time they are not human and nowhere near intelligent to know what sex is or even begin to understand what consent is. Idk what ‘human emotions’ mean to you but all mammals display emotions like that.

yup, animals don't, I agree, but pokemon aren't exactly animals at this point. I'm talking on a fictional standpoint, in the anime, they speak, and some of them even have telepathic abilities, so yeah

i'd say wanting to smash a yellow cartoon mouse with lightning powers is pretty different from wanting to have sex with a real life mouse. and i think hating irl beastiality is normal, based even

The big difference is the consciousness i think. Like Pokémon are in theory pretty smart and not just animals

I don't know I still feel bit bad about it but well. I just can't help but feel lust towards some sexy pokemon feral too like eeveelutions or lycanroc, lucario. I would say part of it is because people who create arts make them really tempting. I don't think everyone who like such things like them from start in my case it was like I didn't really care about them but I found few arts which made me want them and this made me slowly get into them.
