It's a certain type of vocabulary that makes it hot. And if I were to be asked whether I'd sext in English or any of the languages I know, including Hindi, I'd choose English in a heartbeat.

Not really? It could just be because I haven't grown up with it but it feels... hmm... distant? I feel like I can be more intimate in the other languages I speak, but intimacy feeds into sexiness so that's why it doesn't always work for me if that makes sense

Somehow english sounds right, while my native language sounds for me just funny or embarrassing in that way.
That's why in rp i will always prefer english language, even tho i have small vocabulary.

personally i just can't take my native language seriously anymore. hearing dirty talk in it just gives me so much secondhand embarrassment. meanwhile in english it sounds more natural and smooth?? which is kind of ironic considering my native language is stereotypically a 'romantic' or even 'sexy' language lol

Nah, for me It's just a popular language, the ones I find sexy are French and Spanish.

Well personally, I'm a pretty shy person and when it comes to sending lewd texts or dirty talk, English helps to put some distance and ease the situation. I still used French for that when I was still with someone but sometimes English also feels right to me ^^

Definitely I'd say, my native language is spanish, but I feel weird using it during an rp, for that stuff I find English way more better, for some reason sounds hotter while in spanish sounds vulgar idk how to explain it but I just don't like it. Maybe it's because I've been using english way more so I might be biased? But yeah, is hotter and smoother rather than native, I can barely take dirty talk seriously anymore too lol

I feel the same way lmao, my native language is also Spanish.. for my case I guess Im just too used to do roleplays in English so suddenly changing the language to Spanish definitely seems really damn weird lol

I was raised at the home speaking Mandarin Chinese until I was 6, so I may or may not count as a native English speaker. That said, I don't find it sexy in particular. Mandarin sounds the most beautiful to me as it is more singsong, especially the Southwestern Dialects.

i myself am a native french/arabic speaker - and i currently live in france! however i spend 99% of my time on the internet in english communities. i genuinely prefer speaking english rather than french, and as a whole english sounds much more attractive to me than french. i can't take any sort of dirty talk seriously when it's in french, i find it ridiculous and almost cringy... which is why i feel like dating-wise, i'd most definitely prefer dating someone who can speak english. i don't exactly know why i have this preference. probably because i spent most of my time reading smut in english and that influenced my tastes.....

No, grew up online basically and i’m really used to write in english and be in english spaces that it’s just plain i guess. I do like hearing certain accents tho like wisconsin and missouri accent. The rest mostly sounds the same to me
