Hmm tough call... I mean, there are some drop-dead-gorgeous people from every country, so I suppose for the sake of this question, we're just thinking about like the highest average rate of attractive people per capita... I've heard that Brazil, Sweden, Japan, and South Korea have usually scored very high in that regard. But the jury's out on that one for me, I'd need to read up on some more data before I can offer a strong opinion.
I'm kind of in the same place you are on this.
Going by individuals rather than by entire populations, there are three guys I've seen in person who stand head and shoulders above the rest as far as pure physical attractiveness goes: Zach, a Jordanian guy who looked like the perfect mixture of Tom Selleck and Omar Sharif that was married to my best friend's sister, a random jaw-droppingly handsome East Indian guy who came into the bar where I worked with some friends of his, and a guy I saw around my neighborhood for a while who was stunningly hot in a generically Mediterranean, more Greek-ish than anything else, kind of way.
That brings up another point and the flaw in the original question- What is considered "hot" varies greatly from person to person, so someone who is really turned on by blond hair isn't likely to find many of their type in Japan or South Korea.
