So I'm a straight male, maybe a bit bi-curious which will make sense once I explain this, but are there any other straight men here that dislike how little straight porn or hentai actually gives visual attention to the man in the scenario? I'm talking about how in so many images I see the guy will either be faceless, or just not be in the shot and all visual attention is given to the girl, usually a super exaggerated blow up doll of a girl at that.
And it's a shame because I want my men in smut to be expressive! I want them to look pleasured, to be blushing, to whimper, roll their eyes back, be on the edge of tears because of how good it feels. Yet most straight stuff I see just has faceless husks with dicks.

It's an odd trope for sure, but not one that I entirely object to. I think I and many others are very self-conscious about our appearances and do not wish to see something that directly affirms or denies our perceptions of our physical appearances. This desire to distance the self from a depiction in art is probably the reason why I like anthro art so much -- because the designs of those characters so rarely map precisely to actual human features.

That makes sense, I've always wondered why there's so much faceless or ambiguously defined male artwork. Pretty interesting to think about.
