what exactly does this mean? do you mean like how to find a character or a kink? you'd simply type out their name, usually their surname before their first if they have a Japanese name, or do you mean search to only have that character in the image? you can always try solo_female with the characters tag included in the search

No, in a search of a character like this:
rule34.xxx/index.php?page...t&tags=jill_valentine
is all mixed videos, animations and images, i want filter only the images, please.

not sure if there's a search query for this exactly but you can try blacklisting both the "animated" and "video" tags, maybe "sound" and "no_sound" for good measure if you really need to

Hmm you can specify gifs at the end of a name... what happens if you put "pics" on the end?

You can put a '-' before any tag to exclude it. So you could put -animated in your search and it'd filter out anything that had the animated tag.

Put -video to not show posts with that tag without having to go into your Blacklist

Try this:
Put:
animated animated_gif video mp4
...into your blacklist, save it and then type
jill_valentine*
...into the search box.

Remember to include the * in your search tag and don't forget to remove the tags from your blacklist once your done. this should give you every permutation of Jill valentine with the exception of those that are animated.
