Rule 34 FGC (Fighting Game Community)
Many of you out there are into fighting games, it seems; and now, I'm making the call to see who's up for the next match. Let's get an actual community going on here!

Casual players welcome.

Honestly I’m super casual when it comes to fighting games, because I’m mostly interested in the characters and their stories. But I could potentially be interested in something like this.

I play a bit of SF, KOF and Skullgirls. But mostly Smaaaaaash is the one I’m really good at.

Next match in what? My only fighting "game" preference is in Mugen, very interested to see where this thread goes though

all r34 sanctioned fights should be in an IKEMEN GO build that features only dumb fetish characters/dumb sex edits of characters, it's the only way

Also mostly casual, if I play it's with friends and to spend time and laugh

The games I play are Soul Calibur(4,5 and 6) Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Tekken 3 when I was a child and a little Guilty Gear last year

Interesting. MUGEN has a million fun characters as long as their properly balanced. Though, I have been wanting to try out Dark Donald.

What I play?

Street Fighter
Killer Instinct
UMK3
UMVC3
Skullgirls
Under Night In-Birth
Persona 4 Arena: UltiMAX

But I'm down for anything, really.

I play a handful of games

SF5
UMvC3
UMK3
MK9
NGNT4
MvC2

Slowly getting back into P4 Ultimax while learning KOF15

There are more but just listing a few for now

Now THIS is my kind of thread. Fighting games are my main genre, which I also play competitively. I like to think I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to different fighting games, so I've played most you can mention. Main games right now are: Guilty Gear Strive, P4 Arena, and BBCF.

Very casual but it’s pretty fun to play some smash once in a while when you’re good but not too tryhard. Personally I prefer team battles and free for alls on plain stages like battlefield or fd. Ideally without items.

Well if it ain't a thread about the FGC

I can't remember the last time we had one about this, but from what I can recall it was really fun! I've never seen that many people discussing next releases, or their game's complex lore before, so hopefully this one can grow to be as big as that, since there's a lot to love about fighting games

As for me... Well, here I am!
I'm more of a casual player, with a tendency towards classic arcade games, from which I finish a couple almost every month.
Because MAN, the 90s had so many beautiful titles to check out, you will never run out of matches against people, even less now that there are online emulators to play these kind of things

I'm telling you, we truly live in a marvelous timeline for fighting games

Ooh, sounds lovely. Thankfully most people seem to be pretty involved in the lore scene nowadays, I've seen just about constant discussions of the GG universe when it pops up in any way.

Also, totally agree that these are good times! From a technical point, at least. Don't know much about other periods since I'm very much new blood but damn, do I wish I could turn back time to when Xrd was at its peak. Or at least have ArcSys add rollback to it.
I want my Sol DI shenanigans back...

Personally, I'm super casual, despite trying to get myself into the scene thoroughly.
Incredibly, genuinely ridiculously bad at the games themselves.
I play on PC, anime fighters exclusively, pretty much, 1v1 ones at that, so:

Guilty Gear
BlazBlue
Under Night In-Birth
Persona 4 Arena (coming soon)
Arcana Hearts (I'm sorry)

I have to say Strive has been very good about bringing in new players. It's cool to see a whole new generation getting into something we grew up on, and it makes me wonder what new contributions they'll make in the FGC going forward.

There are some classic anime fighters for SNES/SFC like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and a totally broken yet totally awesome Sailor Moon game that I still want to try out. I've also been trying out Gundam Wing: Endless Duel after watching Justin Wong play it on his channel. It feels ahead of its time for a SNES fighter, that's for sure.

New KI got announced. As a Playstation player, I guess it's not for me, lol. I guess it's cool for Xbox owners, and it probably feels good to have that in your camp. Idk, not something I get to play though.

Looking forward-ish to MK12. Depends on what happens with it. JJBA All-Star Battle remake is high on my list.

I've got those SNES fighters, and they are indeed broken all to shit. There's a SNES Yu Yu Hakusho game, which is also pretty busted. Idk why SNES fighters are often built so jank.

Woah, neat! Never seen a FG thread here before. I'm super casual with fighting games as well honestly since I don't play them that often and am not very good at a lot of them but I play Smash a lot and a little bit of P4AU on PC. Also planning to get Strive and KOF when I have le monies.

Been playing Melty Blood after having played Under Night before. Not the same vibe but still enjoying it with friends a lot.

Other than that, Guilty Gear Strive and SF V have been playing casually on and off. Just recently swap from a controller to a fight stick too so I'm expecting some rough matches ahead of me.
