What's the longest RP you managed to do?
Have you ever gotten to play a character through their entire life?
How did your long-running RP end up coming to an end?
Whether it be an ERP or not I'm curious.

I was a part of a GOT RP around the end of the second season. It started with like 7 or 8 of us with multiple chats themed like one of the kingdoms. It was great with all the numerous plots & things coming together etc. After a while, people inevitably fell off but 3 of us kept it going for 3 years. I got to live out my character's entire life into old age. He got married, had two twins, a blind bastard daughter & a third son. Got injured in a rebellion from a horse fall & needed a cane, started drinking bcz he couldn't be the warrior he once was but lived a relatively happy marriage & died in the winter slipping & falling down the stairs.

After that my life got hectic & I had to stop but I still am very good friends with one of the last ones left. She told me what ended up happening was that our twins went to war with each other over lands, one died & the other regretted it & became a horrible leader. My blind daughter got married, had a great life & family & my youngest son ended up ruling after my other twin died of consumption from the guilt of killing his brother lol last I heard they ended it with our grandchildren coming of age. It was beautiful.

My longest RP is still currently going. A year and 6 months so far.

Its based on the fighting game Under Night In-Birth. My character is a creation by the main antagonist as a means to attain god like power. Characters have powers called EXS and my character has the ability to take another's power through sex.

Its currently in its final chapter. Im very sad its coming to an end but all good things do. I honestly dont think any other RP I do will last as long.

Y'all are getting roleplays that last longer than a few days?

One for three months, it was Anthro-Pokémon related in characters but it was more original as it played along. The BF/GF relationship type which was nice.

And another for two months, it was more mother-son. It actually was going very well since that type of rp is rare to come by and especially to keep it going.

...but ended on a cliffhanger and ghosted on both which is why I'm easily discouraged to RP anymore.

Yeah. Its amazing what happens when people dont ghost you and actually want to RP rather than just doing shit due to a new urge that peters out in a hour.

I do actually have a long term roleplay buddy, of which we've been roleplaying for almost a month, I think.

I agree. I think I was lucky since the series our RP is based on is a rather niche title. The funny thing. When I first messaged her about it I originally intended to do one scene with one female from the game. Then as we talked we brought up more females. She had laid out all of them in her request even going so far as to individualize them by giving them their own kinks. I decided to make it worth her while and take them ALL on.

I scenario became like 10. New characters introduced were added plus things like 3 threesomes and girls returning for round 2/3. It was incredible how much we set up. When someone really is into their request and dedicated to playing you really have some fun.

Once I did a RP where I played as a college girl who dominated her teacher, it was one of the most fun and entertaining RP I had, it lasted about 9 months but my partner one day stopped answering.

Damn near a decade, but it wasn't sexual.

I had a SFW RP that went on for over a year, and only ended because I'm pretty sure the RP partner flat-out died-

I'm talking account wipe, account deletion, hell, probably even uninstalled-

I'd still be engaged in it, no question, if they were still around...

I think they went by "SluttySonicGirls" on here, but the RP itself was about a club that took in girls (usually kidnapped or homeless) to be servers, performers, and all other sorts.
My character fell into a super-rare category as she was traded by her adopted father to pay fees/debt to "the Master". Her mental trauma became part of the story as Rouge (sonic) took her as a personal apprentice, both seeing how easily the girl could snap and that she could use that too.

For weeks, I had literally the best RP I could have dreamed of, as it seemed like both myself and the other user were trying to make sure we either 1-uped the other or at least maintained a high-level of storytelling.

Right as it reached a HUGE point in the story, as another character (I think Sally Acorn) was teaching her to indulge the sadistic side she hid because "I'm Momma Rouge's Good Girl", Discord deletedthem and they disappeared... But several of the Sonic girls had different groups under the control of The Club and I guess I showed up at a critical time...
But I was constantly set-up or taught things to help or hurt someone. And all my character wanted was to be accepted, since her original parents abandoned her, and even after being adopted for years, she was just a bargaining chip... she was easily manipulated, yet FEIRCELY loyal.

It's been several years long. I was GMing an isekai fantasy world for this guy involving some questlines and characters with relationship building. I thought it was all pretty fun with some smaller RPs in between RP days (in-world days) to break things up. Though he stopped responding about a month ago, which I assumed was just due to IRL business. Though today I got on and noticed he was no longer in the RP server, and it seems like I've no longer got him added as a friend. Which sucks because I assume he completely lost interest in the RP, but it's kind of got a silver lining in that it means I'm now free to reach out to other people to find someone more open to frequently responding.

I think my longest was like 4 or 5 days long...and it was a sequel to another rp...but the story was Equius got done with an errand with Gamzee and John, so he wanted alone time with this guy readin' Beastars..but after like 3 scenes he got caught by Gamzee and Nepeta and they gangbanged for the rest of the rp..

I still have it going for like 2 years already. With some breaks in between, one of them being quite long one, but we are still going with it. It's just a fantasy rp, with my partner playing as the main character and me being some sort of GM and playing all other characters in the story. It's really enjoyable and I'm honestly scared of losing that person eventually because of how big of a story we managed to do. At this point we have at least over 50 named characters that we use and several plot lines going on, which I'm quite proud of, cause I came up with them myself.

Have to say, that we've managed to do such a long rp mostly thanks to my partner, because they are VERY understanding and patient when it comes to the rp
