not to crush anyone's dreams (pun definitely intended) but interestingly snakes don't really strangle things in the traditional manner what actually happens is much worse rather then simply squeezing things they use there weight and strength to crush creatures as they inevitably breath out it'd be sorta like drowning but not because there's no air but your lungs aren't big enough to breath because a several hundred pound worm is actively trying to off you. Ulike straggling which is where your throat is held shut disallowing you to breath its more like your respiratory tract being put in a vice the point of which is to make sure nothing is alive that enters the snake because if there is anything you don't want something clawing it's way into for its life its your internal organs and snakes are well aware of this which is why its probably something you'll need to look out for if you want to live longer enough to be swallowed
